The Students of Hightower Trail

Although Adam Casey spends his day as the STEM/STEAM & Innovation Supervisor for Cobb County Schools, he has a long history of theater and musical production. He has directed over 25 musicals including Beauty & the Beast, Matilda, The Little Mermaid, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, High School Musical, Mary Poppins, and The Sound of Music. Mr. Casey also served as one of the assistant principals at Hightower Trail Middle School and built some great relationships with directly contributed to the success of this partnership.

Adam and assistant director and choreographer Erin Jolly met and became friends at Lassiter High School where they shared the stage. Many years later, they reconnected. Erin is a talented actress, singer, and dancer/choreographer. She lives in Marietta with her husband, Jason, and 3 adorable kiddos! She has worked with Adam on many productions and has been a part of the HTMS partnership since 2017!

 

Brian “B-Rock” Adams is currently the face of B-RockinParties, a mobile DJ company that enjoys facilitating a good time and playing music at parties for all ages.  Before that, he was an elementary PE teacher for 9 years and then transitioned to teaching adults at Orangetheory Fitness. He has been involved in multiple aspects of productions including performing on stage all the way to running sound and drama games at a week-long summer camp for Beth Irwin Productions. His favorite role on stage was being George Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life.

 

We are excited to add Britt Moss to our team this year! Britt grew up performing on the stage in chorus, drama productions, musicals, solo vocal performances and vocal competitions. She also got to work closely with Adam over 15 years ago assisting him with a summer drama camp for many years! Britt lives in Canton with her husband, Devin, and 3 kids - Oakley (6), Emmett (3) and Rowan (1) who she stays pretty busy with as a stay-at-home mom, but she is super excited to step back into the theater world and share her talents with the HTMS crew! 

 

Matthew J. Vasquez is a working actor in the TV/Film Industry. His creative journey began at the age of 6 with commercials and theatre, later transitioning into TV/Film when entering high school. He was in the Alliance Theatre’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ back in 2014, played Juror #8 in Pope High School’s One Act ‘12 Angry Jurors’, and performed as The Baker in ‘Into the Woods at Hightower Trail in 2016. Matthew is excited to come back this year contributing to the production from the another side, directing technical effects and working with the young actors to bring a production to life!
